Removing interior parts on '93 convertible...HELP!

I've browsed the bulletin board but can't find any answers! Does anyone know how to:
1. Remove the center console on this car? I've removed the two screws under the rear ashtray and the console only seems to be held in place by something at very front of the piece (just ahead of the gear shift). I've tried to remove the leather gear shift boot, but it isn't budging. I thought it might be attached from undernear.
2. Remove the lower dash/console just under the heater controls. there appear to be a couple of screws on the side securing the piece to the carpet, but I can't get to them because of the padded panels under the steering wheel and glove box.
3. Remove the rear seat speaker/light panels. I've got them off but can't figure out how to detach them from the light bulbs, which are attached to the body by wiring. It's held in place by a plastic and metal ring.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
