if approached right. Crack the hydraulic lines before unbolting the MC. Unbolt it, undo the lines completly, slip the new one in. Fill reservoir and gently bleed air out of MC. When no more air comes out, partially thread in the lines and bleed another stroke or two. Any remaining air will exit at the loose fittings. Snug 'em up and it's a wrap. I generally bench bleed the new cylinder in a vise but in-situ works well too. The key is don't force any air into the lines and you can avoid (or defer) bleeding the remainder of the system. I often bleed the fronts which I never have a problem with the bleed screws and defer on the rear ones after giving them a shot of penetrant.
