The post or shaft connected to the bottom of the upper ball joint. The
upper part of the wheel knuckle has a hole that recieves the post or shaft.
Well after chaning out the axle and getting everythibg back in, not matter
how much I tork up on the bolt for the upper ball joint, there is still
a space between the very bottom of the face of the ball joint and the upper knuckle assembly. I pounded on it, jacked it, tightened the heck out of it, still there is a space. Before it was tight and I needed to pickle
fork it free. Am I looking for trouble down the road or wll a good pothole
(plent of those in Springfiled Mass.) put it in its place. Car seems to ride and handle normally after test drive. Camber and toe seem fine.
Thanks,
Peter
