I removed the 2 A-arm bolts to release the bottom b-joint but was reluctant
to use the same method on the upper. I wasn't sure if removing the two upper A-arm bolts to release the b-joint would end up in relaseing the spring mount at the same time. Is this not the case. Does the spring mount
remain in place even with the teo upper b-joint mounting bolts removed?
Besides, having the upper b-joint post hanging dowm made it easier to get the knuckle pack in place. Sliding in the bottom b-joint into the A-arm
then hooking the top of the knuckle on the post was very convenient.
I havent checked it since the full weight of the car has been on it, with some driving done. It may be tight now and I can sinch up the bolt.
Anders suggested adding a washer too. Sounds like a logical idea.
Thanks,
Peter
