It really sounds like the fluid in the clutch master is by-passing the inner seals, causing the pedal to be dodgy at times.
If you really want to bleed it...maybe flushing the system will help. You can do this by yourself. Get yourself a piece of wood that you can wedge between the seat and the depressed clutch pedal. The line from the master can be found underneath the brake power booster(follow the feed hose from the brake master reservoir to the clutch master). Bleed the master first by wedging the board in place and cracking the line...do this a few times, each time removing the board and re-installing it again. Follow the line from the clutch master to the slave cylinder(driver side of engine forward near the radiator). Do the same thing with the board, and crack the line at the slave. Repeat as many times as needed.
Another trick to try....push the clutch pedal with your foot, and let your foot slip off the pedal, slapping the pedal upwards....do this at least 10-20 times, in between bleeding.
If this doesn't make the pedal more dependable, then change or re-build the clutch master.
