Hi all,
After some from davenew and 900s on the chat this morning, I went with more than just my ign module and DVOM. (Fuel Filter, gas-line antifreeze)
I added the anti-freeze ($2 for 6 oz of alcohol?!), then proceeded to check the voltage at the fuel pump. Seemed low, then I remember that the battery might be a tad low, so I jumped it. Voltage @ pump=great. Reconnect pump, perfect start. (Total time for anti-freeze: about 10 minutes)
So, Bad Gas?
Note that the tank was very low when I added the 8 gallons, it was an UNUSUALLY warm evening, and humid. I'm thinking that if the underground tank is uncontaminated (very new gas station) then perhaps that much COLD gas condensed a ton of water vapor?
We won't know until I empty the tank again, in about 3 days. But what do you think? And now that we're dropping 40 degrees in 12 hours, will I be seeing something bad again? (from 61 to 28 tonight, back up to 30 something tomorrow with a windchill of 10. WOW, fall to winter in 8 hours.)
I'm carrying all my tools in the car TFN.
Thanks all for your help.
Ben
