the over pressure switch is under the dash on the driver's side. This switch triggers the ECU to cut the fuel pump instantly. The effect is dramatic, i.e. face in the dash. The two relays over the ECU supply the ECU and fuel pump. I don't think they are your problem, but bad relays can cause rough running.

If I were you, I would give the car a basic tune-up and fully sort out your turbo APC system, easy to do. I would set the base boost to about 5.5 psi using a calibrated pressure gauge, tee'd into any hose off the intake downstream from throttle butterfly. Use a hose off the tee long enough to reach into the cabin so you can watch the gauge when driving. Pull the APC solenoid plug(up near coil) to limit boost to base. Drive at WOT in 3rd gear to measure base boost. If low, shorten the wastegate rod about 2 turns per psi needed to reach 5-6psi.

Check/clean all grounds and clean all connectors to APC box, APC solenoid, AMM, knock sensor. Not a bad idea to clean out the APC solenoid with carb spray. Check BPV(hooter) valve down near turbo to make sure the diaphram holds vacuum/pressure at the control hose. Check all turbo plumbing for cracks and leaks.

Regap plugs to 0.024", put in a new dist rotor and cap, use only bougicord wires, set timing to 16 btdc.
