Attractive aftermarket stereos

Yesterday I got a surprise early christmas present. My dad borrowed my car to go to work, and on his way home he stopped at Circuit City and had a new JVC KD-S590 CD stereo installed for me. I'm very happy because I wasn't able to listen to CDs before, and the old radio didn't sound good at all (it wasn't a problem with the speakers after all). Last night I went for a drive and realized how bad in looks in the dash of a Classic 900. The buttons are bright red, and the large main display is bright blue (visible by my friend in the car behind me).
It really looks tacky, like a stereo that belongs in one of those low to the ground Hondas, and it was obviously designed to be positioned much lower in the dashboard, not directly below eye level.
I'm keeping mine just because it was a gift, but I wonder if it's possible to buy a different faceplate.
Has anyone found a reasonably priced aftermarket CD stereo that looks good in a C900? By the way, I drive a 1985 900.
