I 'member recently changing the right upper forward control arm bushing, with only the wheel raised. I was miles from home at the time too (J yard purchase). I don't know what made me do it since the car would have easily made the trip home where I have access to all tools and dodads. When both bolts were removed, the bracket lurched down and well away from where it needed to be to rebolt the "new" bushing bracket. It needed to be yerked back up in position. Pry'd somehow. I ended up using one of those construction nail pullers shaped like an "L" to pry it back in place while carefully threading the bolt. For proper leverage I had to build up a platform made with several old brake pads which rested against the chassis frame. To my bemused amazement it actually worked.
