Using disks of plywood, delrin (white cutting board), or the like, shim up the spring perches to regain lost clearance due to spring sag. No special tools are required to drop the rear springs.
Except for some gas-filled types, shocks don't affect ride height.
BTW, the stiffness of your springs has not changed; only the height.
Driver side rear has a slightly stiffer spring than passenger side rear. Consequently, my guess is that the passenger side is sagging more.
Regarding jfsegre's comment, "How in the heck would putting better parts in the affected area make things worse?": Adding different, stiffer springs to the rear will promote oversteer (same goes for stiffer rear shocks). It is universally accepted that understeer at the limit, of which the c900 has plenty, is the safer characteristic.
