I envy you for the P1800, I've always wanted one--closest I came was a '66 Volvo wagon. It's funny how people look at car ownership, they just don't seem to see that it costs money one way or another--no matter what you do. People pay $400. a month for a new car and think it's the cheap way out because they don't have to pay for repairs. They never add up all those payments and realize that it costs them $20,000 plus over five years. Or they get into the mentality of "I can't put $2000 into a car that's only worth $3000." It's only when you look at the OVERALL COST that you get a true picture of what's really going on. It sounds like you made a great buy on your '93, it's too bad more people don't have the good sense to take advantage of deals like that.
