I'm not sure there is a problem. I've read that the APC drops boost after 3100 rpm. If that's the case the engine is behaving exactly as it's supposed to. The car does not miss at the higher rpms its just you can watch, and feel, the boost bleed off between 3 and 4 grand. The car will still accelerate, just not with the urgency that is does up to 3 grand.
I've just replaced all of my ignition components. New stock rotor, cap, new coil, new Accel 8mm spiral core wires that I cut myself to the same length so resistance is equal for all four wires. New plugs, but I went with platnums which I may need to switch out. I have them gapped at .028 though.
I really need to find someone local to compare with.
