Yes, he had removed the big nut in the middle and he did remove the caliper. And so I think you may be right that he pulled apart the wheel bearing. I've done quite a bit of work on American cars. Do you think that someone who hasn't done this before can replace one of these wheel bearings? Are any special tools required to do this?
