... all 900 keys will open all 900 glove boxes.
Lock cylinders are designed to wear out so that any key that goes in will turn it - the other choice is to design them so that when they wear, no key will work (and that would be a big PITA!)
Since the driver's door gets used much more than the passenger door, it's worn enough so that most any 900 key will open it. I have freaked out more than a few sellers by opening and starting their 900 with my key. It works best with your most worn-out key!! I once started-up a 900 left in a parking lot with a for sale sign on it and it smoked really badly. When a friend mentioned he was thinking about buying it I told him it was burning oil. He said he test drove it, and it was fine - even pulled a plug and it looked brand new (I'm sure it was!) It seems that the car stopped smoking after it warmed-up and the seller warmed it up before he showed it. I took the guy back and started it cold...needless to say, "No Sale."
