I hope it comes out okay. Posted by Jon [Email] (#11) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Jon) on Mon, 5 Jul 2004 08:20:17 In Reply to: Re: Here is how to remove the Vacuum Canister., Taylor, Mon, 5 Jul 2004 07:02:10 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Taylor,
I read your post when you first asked the question, and thought there must be something wrong because I didn't remember anything unusual about removing the vacuum canisters. Of course I was doing it while stripping the cars, I never had the need to remove a damaged one.
When I saw you still couldn't get it out, I took one that I had removed and brought it to one of my parts cars to see what the problem was. It doesn't quite fit without pulling the opening a little wider at the hood track. Then I realized with the power steering reservoir, wiring and maybe the fuse box (on the newer cars) it wasn't as easy as I remembered.
Let me know how it comes out.
Good luck,
Jon
