Read below, than tell me how much I should sell the car for..My guess is around $5000-8000 because of all the work, and parts I couldnt even list.
Plus its got the most desirable stuff done, and major work done, such as the floorpan.
Looks like I'm selling my dream car for the next one on the dream list. Only thing is I never finished this one. It's a 1989 Saab SPG, black, grey SPG stock body kit (Erebuni was going to be bought..), brand new, all 4 tires "Toyo Proxes" 205/40 V16 $650 alone, so they are very low profile. All new suspension..Bilstein Shocks and Intrax Lowering Springs another $600.. Extra brakes new in box, extra black full leather interior, clear turn markers, red powdercoated fuel rail, red engine dress up, newely rebuilt turbo, new exhaust, brand new steering rack, Swedish Dynamics air intake, new TPS, completely restored floor pans, new tie rods, brand new extra complete dash with no cracks...probably installed by the time of the sale.. 3 gauge set brand new waiting to be installed..completely new and restored cooling system...new radiator, pump, hoses.. extra rear window louvre, mounting pads are on the car.. brake paint kit for blue calipers, which I will have done before the sale.. the heat stopped working but that is also getting fixed this week.. It has power windows/locks, power sunroof, 4 wheel disc brakes..last year of non-ABS.. I was going to completely restore this car with performance parts..but only got about halfway done with the process. only problem right now doesnt realy affect driving, but was next on the list is that the engine is slightly knocking because of a sticky valve lifter, I was going to replace the entire top half of the engine so I could run high boost levels, but its an easy fix. turbo puts out exactly 10 lbs of boost, but used to get 12-15 before the knocking. You guys give me an estimate of how much I should sell the car for... Then I'll decide whether to fully go through with selling it or not... :( I'll never be done with Saab though.
see some pics before what I have done recently..I'll take some new ones soon, and it will be on page 4 which isnt up yet..so until there is a page 4, there are no current new pics. If I end up selling it, and the person wants to continue to restore it.. I have made a list, including prices of everything I wanted done to the car, and where those parts/etc can be found. They will get the list. The list includes mods that have never been done on a Saab, and would surely get you in a magazine or something. It's the top secret list.
