i have the floorpan replacement on film..... there were two big spots of rust, and thats really it actually, but they were pretty serious, water was getting through. He completely cut out the sections with rust then replaced them by welding in new sections of metal, leaving no rust left behind, then reapplyed some thick black poo-like substance to protect it. but it was 250 for the pans. theres no more rust on the car, and now I know the engine would have been completely rebuilt by the time of sale, and because the turbo was recently done, there will be no knocking, new pistons, completely new top half of the engine, gaskets, all hoses, everything will be cleaned. and at this point, it is actually mostly stock restored with the exception of an intake and suspension...i dont think tires even count, but i have a brand new dash going it....stock....no cracks, new steering wheel....stock....perfect, original leather seats from a same year spg going in...all the "street" stuff will come later, and thats only because i decided to keep the car. as for value, i meant resale value, a subaru dealerhip offered me $4500 as a trade in value towards an impreza...but i have decided to keep it. i have lots of rare parts in my posetion that saab enthusiasts would pay largly for...such as (here comes the complete list!) 2 original whale tales (1 black, 1 ed. grey), 1 louvre, 2 complete sets of super aeros, 2 full interiors..(1 in the car, 1 extra going in).. new headliner kit, brake paint kit, full extra power steering accessories, like the tank, and pump...all new, new gas tank straps, extra stock exhaust (replaced with a new stock one, as far as fart cans, i hate them I LIKE A QUIET CAR, AS THIS ONE IS..) having new headlights with extras, extra grilles, plug wires, actually a whole extra stock ignition, extra valve cover (not that great looking so its just extra), extra 15" regular 900 rims, extra inside of the door, some lock actuators..this car would have come with almost another car. but since im keeping it, this beauty is getting some fully custom options put in, such as a full navigation system ( i get lost) within a custom computer and touch screen, race seats, 18psi wastegate, modified stage 2 APC (have it, but not in the car, it should arrive in a few days from spg9..) but this car has a lot going for it..and tinted windows. someday i will get the video online of the floorpans..I will put the reciept online in a few days so you guys can print it out and show ur mechanic what other people are paying..as for where im getting all the money!? I'm 18, i work almost full time, just finished high-school, going to school to be a mechanic, and im straight edge (dont do any drugs or drinking of any kind...ever.) so all my money goes into insurance and gas and parts etc.. all to do with this car. i buy almost nothing else. all i do is work on it, and buy for it. and even at work i work on it since i work at a shop, and thats where everything is done, but i still have to pay for everything just like everyone else. If I took the time, I would have done a self-spell check on this, and not have written soo many run-on sentences, but it's still readable, and for some reason i got a little mad.

thanks

-troy
