Nowadays, I have a company vehicle, so my personal vehicles, a Chevy van, and a 900T only get a combined mileage of about 4000 or so a year. Back when I was driving my own van for my job, I was averaging about 35,000 to 40,000 a year. That happened over the course of 6 years. Now, the van is a 1988 model, and i bought it in 1994 with a little over 100,000 on the dial. During that time, I added another 220,000 to the odometer to make it a total of 320,000. Yes, it's a tough little van since it's still running strongly!!!
Now, I can see that type of mileage being added to a SAAB if it was purchased in the same year. Now, I only drove my van for 6 years for work and added all that mileage. If someone has driven their 900 for work during all that time, there could be some pretty insane mileage numbers racked up!
I purchased mine mostly for pleasure driving, and because it gets much better mileage than the van, but I don't see myself putting any insane mileage on it in the next several years....It's gonna last a LONG time considering that I am really anal on maintaince and repairs, and I tend to drive vehicles rather easy.
