Yeah, my car has 187,000 miles on it. So, I am expecting to put a bit of
work into it. The body is pretty clean with normal wear and tear—a couple
of small scratches here and there. Normal wear for it’s age inside ie: cracked front seats and dash.
I have the Haynes manual, which is good but seems to be lacking some
content. I’ll get the Bentley as soon as I can.
There is some rust on the exterior of the muffler and there is a connection
joint under the hood that is missing a bolt and that side is slightly pulled out.
I did see the posts regarding the modified jaguar gear for the sunroof. I took the motor out and after inspected the housing and cover I found nothing loose so I took off the cover and found a fairly stripped and gnarled gear.
I’ll have to do a little investigation as to why the air only comes out of the top speaker vents. After messing around with the distribution hoses the other switch settings now operate but the air is still directed to the top vents.
Again thanks for the welcome and thanks for pointing me in the right
direction. I’m going to test the t-stat this evening and do a system flush.
