I've dealt with two fuel system leak sources - the fuel accumulator above the rear axle developed a leak and was dripping. I replaced the rubber coupling and all is well. The second problem was the one way check valve along the fuel vapour circuit, specifically just above the filler cup along the C pillar. The valve is between two plastic hoses and connected with rubber couplings with small hose clamps. One of the hose clamps was loose. After tightening, the smell of fumes inside the car disappeared.
