Look in the page header, click on "Sort by Latest Active Thread". Then you'll see old threads that get resurrected by someone posting to them. Seems like there's a lot of people who don't know about that feature.
It's possible a flaky ignition switch might have left something turned on, draining the battery bit by bit. However, once you start the engine it should charge back up & start the process all over. So that doesn't explain it getting gradually worse over a month.
Keep an eye on your alternator. I wonder if it's got some intermittent problems? There's a ground wire from the alternator case to the engine, that can corrode & go bad even when it looks OK. The brushes (in the voltage regulator) wear down & start making flaky contact. Sometimes you gotta wait until it gets bad before you can figure out what's going on.
