If the water pump is not leaking. I would let the car idle until the temp was 3/4 mark on the guage. jump the two wires on thermo sw in top of rad on lt side. Watch the temp if it does not go down. pull the rad and have it checked. If the rad is bad their are some after market rad with 7 more rows that are aviable. are both fans comming on if not, and fans are good, their is a wireing mod to have both fans run at the same time. It has been over 100 deg here and my 88 turbo does not over heat.
