Todd...sounds like you are on the money here...I just did this and second guessed myself also. You mention planing the head...that could be your 1/16" right there...Swedecars pic is just as it should be. I think you have it set correctly. You did use a new chain and guides right? Even at 30K the chain will have stretched enough to make the setting move a tad.
