To replace the gasket itself is a big job as it has tabs that go down behind the dash (assuming they secure the gasket). The trick that is used here is to cut the rusty metal supports out of the old gasket (3 of them). This greatly increases the chance of a successful install.
Also make sure they do not use urethane. These windshield are not glued in place. A modest amount of butyl rubber does the trick.
