To further agree with John, My buddy has an 85 too. (Nice when you want to swap parts) Anyway, he was having problems and we couldn't put our finger on it. The issues kinda came in went in severity. But the short of it is the AMM was changed and it cured it all. Which really puzzles me. It didn't want to run right at idle and ran fine from about 2k to 3k but after that it would start to buck. We almost pulled the head off, before I started just swapping parts from mine. ECU, ICU, AIC, anything that was rather easy to swapped it. Long story short the AMM was the problem. It just to weird. And the more stories I hear the more confused I get. I guess there is no sense to made from something going haywire. (unless it just goes out all together)
