I'm hoping that some of you knowledgeable folks who have replaced a convertible top can help me get past 2 issues. I'm using the instructions for the CV top FAQ which are great.
One item states that you "lower the top halfway and drill out the two pop rivets that hold the side cables at the front corner of the top". I have looked everywhere and cannot locate these cables or the rivets.
The second issue is when I am removing the side spoilers, one of the attachments is a wing nut. These seem to just spin. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you get past it?
Thanks. I'm determined to do this job myself!
