Could most likely be the front motor mount. I had the exact symptoms and was going to replace the innerdriver and replaced the front motor mount first. ALmost 90% of the vibration is gone and now drives much better with the engine secured. It was especially bad when accelerating on corners at 40mph+. I think I still have an inner driver issue...but most likely is was caused by neglecting the motor mount for so long.
This is an extremely easy DIY (3 out of 10) and takes 1.5-2 hours. I took my time and washed the bottom skid plate off.
I don't know how to diagnose a bad mount since my indie told me it was broken. Also they are fairly cheap from Eeuroparts.com.
