shifter assembly. I seem to remember that the break you have is not uncommon, and that you need the correct 'lever' to work in the later shift assembly. ? ? Just looked at a parts book and it seems like earlier fits into the same housing etc. ?? To remove: pull shifter boot up, remove three phillips or torx head screws that hold collar that retains the ball assembly, lift it out. Ball assembly is usually pretty sloppy with lube so a bag or rags for wrapping are handy.
