You have to jack up the car so the bottom a arm is down as far as it will go. Taking off the shock might allow a little more but also blow out the spring...
If the spring is still under compression you want to be real careful.
Yes, you can put the compressors on any way you can....like I've posted before, the spring won't go in with the compressors ezzackly 180 out. You won't be able to put the compressors on the bottom coil necessarily because once you get it installed you might not be able to get it out.
I think you'll have to have a more than slightly bent spring to allow it to go in.
since you didn't take the spring out with the compressors you'll have to experiment.
don't worry...you can't hurt the spring by compressing it.
Be very careful not to let the spring blow!
