J/K!
Actually tonight I spent an hour and a half removing the anti-frost switch (one bolt- so easy!) and condenser from my convertible, making her the first car in the family to be completely without it. The only remaining bits are the button and relay and fan, which I use for the manual fan (the car's a 2.1 with only one fan automatic). And yes, I see the green stains on both corners even better now. Relax, your radiator is on its way.
Anyway, the condenser is a piece of cake. Four screws holding the condenser in (two on the bottom going to the radiator support vertical member, two holding the condenser to the over-headlight cross piece), at least one of the two fog light connectors, four bolts holding the bumper on (two big'ns and the two teensy ones connecting it to the side trim), bumper comes off in lap, swing it under the front of the car, and the condenser drops out the bottom. I can't wait to drive this thing. Maybe that's because we got five inches of snow today, and the low overnight will be around -5. As always, the Hakkas say bring it on!
Yeah, that's why I love my membership too. Look at my posts about which heater hoses go where and dissecting a wiring diagram, and both were answered within a few hours. If the factory doesn't care to support these (excellent) cars without making them unaffordable, why can't we save ourselves instead?
