Does anyone have any experience with the little bulb that illuminates the ignition switch in an early 900? I don't know how long this little feature remained a part of the design. It strikes me that in theory it should come on when the door opens (with the rest of the interior lights), and then shut off when the door closes (and I guess the driver is supposed to get the key in the ignition before he closes the door?). Similarly, it should be on when you open the door after shutting the car off, so you can pull the keys out, right? Well the light in my car is on 100% of the time - like the clock. Even with the key out and doors closed. The rest of the interior lights work fine. I didn't really realize this until I'd been driving the car a month and the battery finally ran down. I'd like to keep the light there and functional, but how do I figure where the problem is that keeps it from shutting off when it should?
Thanks,Chris
