My poor 900 is being plaqued by age and now has a number of things that are going to need replacing. But they can all be considered maintenance items but I am hesitating at fixing them because of the cars milage and $$ involved.

Things needing replacing:current milage is 265k, 1990 900T
Springs, shocks, all bushings under the car including swaybars, rt. inner driver and CV, defrost and cig. lighter do not operate, headliner of course, some threads on the seat, needing new tires. Guessing this would roughly cost $1500 or more.

Car has excellent, new cooling system which I have completely gone through, new clutch at 200k, new cat back exhaust, pulleys/belts, spindle, alternator, rt wh. bearings, p/s, fuel pump,...etc

Car pulls strong and runs good except for 1 small oil leak and a slow power steering leak...most likely the steering rack.

I've put lots of time and $$ into this car and sure enjoy having it...especially for commuting. But I just need some convincing that fixing it is the right thing to do. I always read about how lots of C900 owner would love to have a brand new one someday.....this might be my chance.

Sorry for the rant....but since I don't know anyone else with these cars I feel like I'm all alone with this decision.
