I was thinking of having the windshield replaced on my 91S ct.
Went to local Saab place in Spokane Wash. They use a local Auto glass company..
Anyway Glass guy tells Saab guy that the convertibles sometimes have a bad seal that needs to be replaced when doing the swap...But they won't know if it needs replacement till they pull the old windshield out. I'm also told that the seal is quite pricey and can take up to 4 weeks from order.
Id rather not lose my car for a month waiting on parts if indeed it needs it....But I also don't want to order a expensive seal I don't need just to have on hand...
Does anyone have any history on this? Or input.
