Hi,
Only a few answers for you; my situation was different. I was rebuilding the front end, so I had the radiator out of the way.
1) If I remember correctly, it's an M8 screw (metric, 8mm) You will also wish to get a few nuts that fit this screw to use the twist-off method for the shaft that you canr ead up on the site.
2) I don't know, sounds likely?
3) Most everyone on the site will recommend replacing everything you can easily reach while you're in there, you don't want to have to go back in.
4)Just a socket can work. Since I used the M8 bolt and a few nuts, I actually used the wrench on the two nuts that are fitted together on the bolt, and pulled by hand back on the bolt, and it pulled right out with no significant effort.
5)I had to take out the pressure plate also. From what I've read, most people take out the entire thing. It's supposed to be possible, but not likely, to get out the clutch without it.
I recommend reading through the FixMySaab site about clutch rebuilding, it helped me a lot. I didn't require as much beer as recommended, but that tally gives you an idea of how hard items are.
That's my $0.02 Good luck!
