Hi,
I'm having an issue that's wrecking my head at the moment. I'm installing a simple GTX200 Sony car radio in my Classic 900 (1992). I've used a converter cable to convert the OEM connector to standard ISO. When I connect the radio, the power 'seems' to work, since I can insert and eject a CD. The problem is however that the display of the radio is 'dead', no light, no led, nothing. Also there's no sound coming from the speakers nor do the buttons seem to work, for as far as I can tell without display.
I've tried connecting the red and yellow connectors (switched and constant) in different ways, but to no effect (other than that the CD will no longer eject either).
Have also checked the radio in the store and the radio works fine there when connecting to a connector, so the radio is confirmed to be working. Any tips that might help me would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Chris
