Hi:

My alternator failed on my 1992 900 T cabriolet.
It was a real pain to get it out and back in.
Saabnet archives helped tremendousely. Thanks.

It looks like I am missing one vacuum connection and I don't know where it goes!!! Could someone go out to their car and have a look for me?

It's a T connection on vacuum hose above and beside the alternator - one part of the vacuum hose goes to the firewall just under the lip (there is a strange looking valve on this hose). From the attached photo, you can see that clearly I am missing something on the T-connection. It's driving me crazy.

Your help would be really appreciated because tomorrow morning we leave on a 8 hour drive for the holidays.
