Kudos for a complete fix. It's nice to find the exact problem and repair it as good as or better than before. I second your opinion about those %^&* aftermarket heater control valves. I've been told that you should never reset the trip meter while the car is in gear or you'll break the odometer. After my second dash & third facia removal it all starts getting easier. I think the fan control wiring is difficult.
