The sensor has a taper thread and you shouldn't have tighted it so much.You probally cracked the side of the hole it goes in.The more you turned ,the wider the thread gets.I always use (TWO wraps of teflon tape)never any more than this and screw just until the sensor is snug.You can clean the outside of the casing and J-B weld with the sensor in place.I know on my 91/900s,you can just unbolt the oil filter/sensor housing and replace. The"Goldwingsaab.com" can sell you a used one. (Two Wraps&Snug)
