Car is question is an '89 turbo convertible.
I took it out for a short 10 minute drive over the weekend and all was fine. Later after it cooled down, I tried to start it and park it in the garage and it ran like crap. Idle surge, drop down and stall. If I tried to feather the gas pedal I could usually keep it running, but barely. Once it wamed up it seemed to run ok again, although I did not take it for a drive. The check engine light is now on too.
When cold, if I disconnect the AMM, it runs pretty good. When warm, if I disconnect AMM it stalls. I tried a known good AMM from my daily driver and got the same symptoms. The O2 sensor is brand spanking new as are the spark plugs. AIC valve has been cleaned as has the throttle butterfly.
Ideas?
