Seems like the clutch slave cylinder. Look into the transmission bellhousing. You'll see it if its there. More of a clear wet look/not oily. Check also, up around the clutch pedal where it pushes the clutch master cylinder. Doesn't sound like it the brake master cylinder, but if it is, they usually leak between the brake master cylinder and the brake vacuum booster diaphragm. Check around all brake calipers. Luckily for the Saab, the clutch slave cylinder can be repaired without removing the engine. My 91/900s is a three speed auto., so I don't have this option. What a great clutch design!
