just picked up my 900t from the mechanic last night, the moment i had been waiting for after buying new t3 off ebay. car has 261k on the clock and was all origional. old turbo was leaking some oil and starting to go but the car ran perfect, always has. now it barely runs! he tells me that the exhaust is plugged up so he left the flange loose on the downpipe to let exhaust escape and set the boost at 7 lbs....and the battery is dead now! this thing won't even keep up with traffic! air hose keeps blowing off the throttle body, causing the car to stall. can't re start because of dead battery so have to be jumped or pushed each time. i live 40 miles from the shop, all uphill, climbing 3000 ft. got to meet alot of new poeple along the way. mechanic wants me to bring it back after getting new cat. and he will set the boost and tighten the flange then. what did he do to my car? he said the studs broke off when removing the turbo, so he made his own replacements because the dealer wanted $24 each for them. did he drop the old ones down the "downpipe" to plug it up? sorry, maybe i just need to vent! my car has been violated and so have i!
