I have ScanWest pulling a used shift shaft off of a '93 today. I spoke with them about the leaks and they tell me that it is common to leak from the rear window. They also said that very little water would come through the shift shaft seal. That may be true to a certain point but most of the worst rust damage was on the exhaust tunnel.
I am going to pull the headliner and see where they water is going to from the rear of the sunroof. All I know is that I don't want to have to repair the floor again. Tearing out the complete interior to deal with it was not fun.
