OK, thanks - I'll have to check the NTC sensor and AIC-valve tomorrow (it's late over here now...)
FPR was changed about two years ago, and the fuelpump is new - don't know if the check valve mentioned is attached to the pump? Then it should be new as well, I guess? I have the single pump (it's a very early '86, actually produced late '85), and the fuelpump relay was also changed with the pump.
The thing I am left wondering about, is the fact that it started perfectly when i first attached the vacuumline from the throttlebody to the EGR valve. It left me thinking that it had something to do with the EGR-system...
Could it be a very freaky coincidence? Sounds farfetched, but perhaps not? That line had been off for a long time, since it ran bad with it attached and the old (weaker) fuelpump installed. So maybe the EGR valve was nonfunctioning for a while, and suddenly became operational again with some gunk coming loose or something, and spitting the vacuumline off again in the process? Could a sticky EGR-valve mask a bad NTC-sensor?
