just a tip, when changing the lower control arm bushings, it would be best to replace the hole arm. the lower control arm is no problem at all to pull, Bentley`s directions of mounting the lower control arm and how the housings attach (at the 45degree angle,.. or whatever degree it call for,.. its been sometime since i did it) is a superb outline of how its done.
when you pull the housing off the upper control arm you will see the deformed metal arm, the lower control arm gets worse and is the arm pron-ed to crack, leaving the car with you in it thinking... (why didn't i listen to vvack0matic and just change out the hole arm)
i highly recommend it, seeing i to was a victim of a snapped control arm.
when it happened the only thing that comes to mind... or my mind was..
i`m so screwed..
but lower control arms are a dime a dozen and the operation is a cup of tea.
in fact is your upper bushings are gone and you never touched the lower control arm`s take a look at them,
if it looks like they are the originals that came with the car, i`d almost bet money..... im not going to say it, but you know what im getting at.
think to get to them soon,... like real soon.
