Sorting out all the issues on an old SAAB takes a lot of patience.
The trip meter is probably toast. This is a common failure when a person resets the meter while an old saab is in motion. You need to get a replacement speedo or have yours repaired.
You may have a bad door switch for the dome light. Check for power at the light with the door open. Get a set of jumper wires. It's nice to bench test electrical parts with them removed from the car.
All vacuum hoses need to be leak free. Including any rubber bushings at the intake manifold/valve cover. eEuroparts sells them for cheap. Don't forget all the vacuum hoses under the dash around the pedal cluster.
For a quick turbo check, disconnect the hose from the APC soleniod to the wastegate. Take it for a spin, easy, easy, no boosting into the red, your only seeing if you can get past base boost. If you have tons of boost your problem is in the APC system. Check out the FAQ section for diagnostics.
All this work is best done on a weekend with lots of time. No fun having to button everything up & get to work.
