soon as i pulled into a gas-station the car just died & stayed dead till the plug was located and replugged in.
put a brand new plug on it (new plastic plug in piece, with new prongs inside the plastic), and then found a year latter i had a short in one line (where the crimp was) and when the wires wiggled heavily the distributor would cut out for a brief moment.
who knows how many times the distributor was cutting out while driving with cruse set before the problem was located.
but it just showed me how much of a instant kill that plug can do.
it took me a good amount of time to locate the plug.. ok so it was 10 minutes but i was freaking the hole time.
im sure if this happened on someone that not a d.i.yer it would be sent to the shop.
only thing is if the plug is at fault the motor will turn over, its just the motor will never start.
if the motor dose not turn over the problem lies elsewhere.
