Good call on A/C Posted by NCSaab [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: No rain, but water on rear floorboards?, SPGx2, Fri, 10 Aug 2007 11:25:05 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Just checked evaporator coils and sure enough there's about an inch of water on the fins. Also found water under front passenger floor mat (didn't notice it this morning).
I put a long thin bolt up the drain in the right front wheel well. No water came out. Is there another drain?
I'm definitely getting water on the ground so somehow the a/c is draining... maybe overflowing the top of the fresh air intake box? I'll need to test when I leave work this evening.
Was the seal hard to replace? Sounds intimidating as I'm a bit of a newbie... I've had many Saabs over the years but am just getting around to actually doing more of the work myself!
