Big trouble now- and advice?(long)

I got the clutch shaft in - all back together -tride to bleed the clutch - got a little pedal so I pushed in (wedge against seat with piece of wood- the 6 ga. wire came out pretty easy, release the piece of wood and clutch pedal and..... the PP didn't pust back- like the slave is puttin too much pressure on it. But it is mechanical as I opened the bleeder and nothing- no fluid came out. I can still ut the wire back into the PP to remove...
THis is disaster- now what or what did I do wrong?
90 SPG- put in 9000 PP and clutch from(86-90) ans used slave and throw out from 90 900 Turbo- just as I was told to do by many on the perf board.-
I think I have big trouble?
Anything Ishould do before I remove it?
