Cold start problems & hesitation

Well, first, thanks to everyone who helped with the no-start issue I had previously, it turned out to be the Hall Sensor, I replaced it and the car's back to the way it used to be. So, I need some more help
'85 900 Turbo 5-speed stick
When I start in the morning, it will start up and almost immediately die and won't stay idling until it heats up a little (the colder it is outside, the worse of a problem this is). If I nurse the gas, I can keep the car running until it warms up, but, until then, if I let off the gas, it dies. Coupled with this is some serious hesitation when I step on the gas from a stop. Full throttle or even half throttle makes the engine hesitate and then engage and rev up. Very frustrating when you're facing uphill at a stop light and the car starts rolling back while you're trying to keep it from not stalling and get it moving forward.
I've been told it's probably a bad AMM or to clean the AIC. I did the latter and even swapped both out with parts pulled from the junkyard, but, no difference (not sure if either of the parts I had pulled were good or not, just thought I'd try). Any thoughts?
