...should spec the gap. Gap is gap is gap. It does not matter which plug, if you're putting it in the Saab, the gap should be set to what Saab says in the manual. 0.028 inches rings a bell for a non-DI car.
If you don't have the manual, the emissions sticker my also hold the plug gap.
Often plugs come gapped to a certain measurement. NGK usually lists that as a suffix as in BCP6EV-11, the -11 meaning 1.1mm (0.043 in) gapped. All plugs are supposed the be set to the carmaker's specification before installation.
Also be sure you don't have resistor plugs in a C900 (unless you installed DI like I did...). In NGK's nomenclature, that's an "R" in one of the positions...
